Process Technician Locations: Coventry Salary: £29,400 per annum plus shift allowance of £1.08 per hour Job type: Permanent Working Pattern: PM Shift, 37 hours per week. Monday - Thursday: 2 pm 10 pm, Friday: 12 pm 6 pm Our client is currently looking for a Process Technician who will work closely with Project Engineers to achieve business objectives. The primary focus of this role is to improve efficiency while meeting the needs of both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording process changes, facilitating training, and supporting improvement activities in the Engineering department. Key Responsibilities: Record and update setting sheets with any process changes after approval. Complete relevant Standard Work as required to meet business needs. Train colleagues to company standards in working practices and processes, liaising with Project Engineers to facilitate training and development. Support team members in identifying improvement activities and solving problems. Ensure correct data collection and timely submission. Facilitate adherence to Health & Safety & Environmental procedures. Promote a culture of 5S for high standards of housekeeping. Support team building and promote good working relations. Focus on optimising cycle times and tool life. Assist in manufacturing issues, TPM/PPM procedures, and improve line changeovers. Monitor OEE and instigate improvements. Qualifications / Experience: Production/Manufacturing background required. Computer literacy. CNC experience/background (Fanuc/Siemens). ONC/HNC in engineering or equivalent. Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication skills. Team player with motivational skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with proactive identification and resolution skills. Capability to manage and resolve difficult situations effectively. Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good interpersonal skills.
