Practice Manager Vacancy Strathcalder Practice, East Kilbride
An exciting opportunity has arisen following a practice restructure for a motivated and experienced individual to join Strathcalder Practice as Practice Manager.
We are a friendly, forward-looking GP practice comprising 4 GP Partners, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, a Healthcare Assistant, and a dedicated, experienced administrative team. The practice uses Vision and Docman clinical systems.
Strathcalder Practice serves a population of approximately 8,500 patients and is located in the New Town of East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, with excellent transport links and easy commuting distance from Glasgow.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and forward-thinking, with the ability to manage and adapt within a changing environment while maintaining and developing the high standard of care we provide. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with significant experience in financial and human resources management.
Previous experience as a Practice Manager within Primary Care is desirable; however, we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant management experience in other business or healthcare settings who demonstrate the qualities required for the role.
We are committed to supporting ongoing professional development and will provide training to enhance leadership skills, including the use of HR and accountancy software relevant to the role.
Hours: Full-time (part-time applications will be considered)
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with skills and experience
Start date: Negotiable
