We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially Retail ,minded Insights & Analytics Manager to shape how we use data across our retail business. This is a pivotal role where you’ll develop and deliver a new strategic plan for data and analytics, transforming how insights inform decision-making, improve processes, and drive sales performance across the organisation.
As the Retail Insights & Analytics Manager, you’ll partner with senior leaders across the business to embed a data-led culture and unlock new growth opportunities, by leading a team of talented Data Analysts who are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of analysis and reporting, ensuring their work has clear commercial impact and supports the wider business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver a strategic roadmap for how the business captures, manages, and leverages retail data.
2. Lead the development of insight-driven processes that enhance trading, marketing, product, and operational performance.
3. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Retail Data Analysts, ensuring high standards of analytical output and professional growth
4. Prioritise and oversee the delivery of key analytical projects, balancing strategic initiatives with fast-paced trading support.
5. Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve sales, margin, and customer engagement.
6. Build strong partnerships across key functions – including Customer, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance – to ensure insights inform every commercial decision.
7. Introduce new tools, reporting frameworks, and KPIs to measure performance more effectively.
8. Champion a culture of curiosity and data-led decision making across all levels of the business.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
9. Proven Retail experience in analytics, insights, or BI management, ideally within a retail or consumer-facing environment.
10. Strong leadership and people management skills, be able to motivate, mentor, and develop analytical talent.
11. Strong commercial understanding and ability to link data to tangible business outcomes.
12. Expertise in analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar).
13. Strategic mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
14. Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with hands-on analysis and delivery.
