Job Description
* Hybrid: UK wide (30% onsite / 70% remote).
* Must be willing to travel anywhere in the UK
* £60-70k DOE
We’re looking for a SHE-focused Assurance Lead with strong audit / assurance experience from energy, utilities, engineering, construction or asset management environments.
You'll sit in the 2nd line of defence, delivering assurance reviews, improving control frameworks, and raising standards across a complex, high-hazard operation.
What you’ll do
* Lead 10–15 assurance reviews annually
* Deliver SHE & Cyber technical assurance
* Drive improvements across safety, operations and asset management
* Oversee ISO standards (9001, 55001, 14001, 45001, etc.)
* Analyse trends and provide impactful recommendations
* Influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
What we’re looking for
1. Strong SHE background (process safety, occupational safety, environment, H&W, etc.)
2. Audit/assurance experience in asset-intensive industries
3. Solid grasp of the Three Lines of Defence model
4. ISO management system expertise
