Could you be a Sense Deputy Manager?
Sense is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and well-organised Deputy Manager to join our team at Sense College Aldeby Suffolk.
This is a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave for approximately 14 months. It's a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Sense College Aldeby provides high-quality services to individuals on Education or adult social care placements. Currently, we deliver bespoke person-centred timetables to 19 people aged 16+ with sensory impairments and/or additional learning difficulties.
As the Deputy Service Manager, you will oversee the adult social care provision, working with staff to deliver activities within the centre and in the community, including Swimming, Sensory activities, Arts and Crafts, Rebound Therapy, and Music. You will collaborate with the Education Services Manager to ensure staff training, development, and management meet the service needs and statutory requirements.

Your required skills and experiences:
* A full UK driving license and own vehicle are essential.
* Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English
* Experience supervising and managing staff according to policy and legislation
* Good understanding of Safeguarding
* Desirable: clean license and own car
* Experience in writing care plans and understanding person-centred planning and approaches
