This is a great role for an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong infrastructure and network delivery experience, who is confident working across multiple suppliers and influencing senior stakeholders.
A bit about the job
This role exists to lead the safe, effective delivery of complex infrastructure and network change across the company’s technology estate. You’ll join a team responsible for delivering critical change that underpins business resilience, security, and colleague and customer experience.
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of delivery across scope, cost, quality, risk, and benefits, managing multiple workstreams and third‑party partners. You’ll be accountable for ensuring projects land safely into business‑as‑usual, with strong governance, clear reporting, and transparent stakeholder communication at every stage.
This role requires someone who can confidently navigate technical detail while translating it into clear, senior‑leader‑friendly narratives focused on outcomes such as risk reduction, improved resilience, and faster time‑to‑market.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
* Strong background in infrastructure and networks, with working knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, firewalls, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, load balancers, and data centre or hosting environments
* Work closely with stakeholders to inform decisions and support successful outcomes
* Demonstrated end‑to‑end project ownership, including planning, governance, risk and issue management, and delivery to agreed outcomes
* Strong third‑party and commercial management experience, including SoR / SoW assurance and challenging supplier delivery and costs
* Ability to produce high‑quality, insight‑led reporting and provide ready‑to‑use materials for senior governance forums
