Sunday night - 18:00-6:30
Monday to Thursday - 22:00-6:30 (Friday morning finish)

The Opportunity
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a multi-million-pound heavy industry business. The site offers a preferred shift pattern that promotes work-life balance. Overtime is paid at a premium rate, providing potential earnings of GBP55,000 or more.
The role involves working on a variety of machinery, ranging from old to new technology, requiring hands-on involvement in heavy engineering environments. Successful candidates will enjoy working with large-scale machinery such as industrial Balers (Harris), 2000-tonne shears, mobile cranes, screw conveyors, in-feed conveyors, separators, sortation machines, and industrial magnets.

Experience required:
* Multi-skilled, preferably with an electrical bias
* Experience in heavy engineering is advantageous
* At least 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing special-purpose machinery
* Mechanical skills: bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, gearboxes, hydraulics
* Electrical skills: 3-phase systems, safe isolation, sensors, relays
* Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to get hands dirty is essential
