Shifts: Various Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts Available
Sector: Formula 1, Motorsport, and High-Performance Automotive Composites
Rates: £22-26.50 dependent on shift and experience
Opportunity
We're looking for experienced Composite Laminators and Composite Trimmers / Fitters to join exciting Formula 1, motorsport, and high-performance automotive projects with a number of our clients in Warwickshire, Daventry and Silverstone.
You’ll be part of a skilled team producing high-quality composite components for some of the most advanced race cars and performance vehicles in the world.
These are outside IR35 contract roles offering excellent hourly rates and long‑term project work with ongoing extensions available.
Responsibilities
* Layup of pre-preg carbon fibre and other advanced materials
* Work to tight tolerances using detailed engineering drawings and layup manuals
* Vacuum bagging, de-bulking, and curing processes
* Trimming and finishing to high standards for motorsport‑quality components
Composite Trimmers / Fitters
* Trimming, drilling, bonding, and fitting of composite components
* Finishing and assembly of carbon fibre parts for F1 and motorsport applications
* Use of hand and air tools to achieve precise fits and finishes
* Understanding of jigs, fixtures, and templates
What You’ll Need
* Proven experience as a Composite Laminator or Composite Trimmer/Fitter
* Background in Motorsport, Formula 1, or high‑performance automotive manufacturing
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
* Comfortable working from engineering drawings and layup manuals
* Flexibility to work on various shifts (days, nights, or weekends)
* Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a fast‑paced team
* 6‑month rolling contracts with strong potential for extension
* Excellent hourly rates depending on experience and shift pattern
