Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and leading a team of culinary staff. Responsibilities

* Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment.
* Oversee food safety compliance, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained in accordance with health regulations.
* Plan menus in collaboration with the head chef or management team, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
* Ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours, maintaining smooth workflow and timely delivery of dishes.
* Enforce cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety protocols.
* Assist in the development of staff skills through coaching and mentoring, promoting professional growth within the team.
Experience
* Proven supervisory experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production processes.
* Extensive kitchen experience including culinary skills across various cuisines.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
* Previous roles in restaurant or hotel settings are highly desirable.
* Experience in serving or hospitality roles will be considered an advantage.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff members.
