The Job Role:
* The experienced proactive Sales Manager will drive and sell all market segments for the hotel
* This role will be reporting into the hotel Director of Sales
* Identify opportunities for new local corporate business through research, cold calling and networking events etc
* Drive new MICE business for the hotel
* The Sales Manager will be the face of the business during client show-rounds, FAM trips as well as representing the hotel & company at trade shows & exhibitions
The Requirements:
* The Sales Manager will have previous experience and proven success in a proactive sales role
* Solid track record of securing new business within the corporate sectors
* Knowledge and experience of developing and implementing the sales strategy
* Be able to use initiative and have the ability in negotiating rates to secure new business at all times
* Must have previous MICE experience
* The role will require local and national travel
