We're looking for a proactive, safety‑minded and organised Warehouse & Logistics Operative to support our busy warehousing and transport functions. If you thrive in a hands‑on role, enjoy variety, and take pride in getting things right first time, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Do
* Safely transporting goods between sites as a Class 1 HGV driver
* Working closely with Logistics and Production to ensure fast trailer turnarounds
* Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring all equipment remains in legal, safe condition
* Loading and unloading vehicles and dispatching components to Production with accuracy and care
* Maintaining stock integrity through correct rotation, handling, sampling and cycle counting
* Managing goods-in documentation and resolving discrepancies
* Using SAP to confirm, pick and manage Transfer Orders
* Keeping warehouse records up to date and supporting stock consolidation
* Using MHE (once trained) including Counterbalance, VNA and pallet trucks
* Deputising for senior operatives when required
* Contributing to team and personal KPIs
Skills & Attributes
* A clear and confident communicator
* Organised, methodical, and able to follow SOPs
* Computer literate and comfortable working with warehouse systems
* A team player with a positive, can‑do attitude
Education & Experience
Essential:
* Valid and clean Class 1 HGV licence
* Up‑to‑date CPC card
* Numerate, literate, and comfortable using English
* Previous warehouse experience
Desirable (but training available):
* ADR certificate
* MHE licences (Counterbalance, VNA)
