<div><p>Applications are invited for a Band 5 radiographer post at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin.</p><p>Location: Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin, north east of Scotland, 40 miles from Inverness and 70 miles from Aberdeen. The hospital sits on the south coast of the Moray Firth within an area of outstanding natural beauty.</p><p>Two posts available: 36 hours per week and 29.5 hours per week.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide General Radiography service including 24‑hour A&E cover, CT, Dental, Fluoro, DEXA and Ultrasound.</li><li>Support services to GP’s, Orthopaedics, Medical, General Surgery, Paediatrics and Neonates, A&E, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthodontics, Theatres and community sites.</li><li>Participate in busy outpatient clinics with visiting consultants from Aberdeen and Inverness.</li><li>Deliver the out‑of‑hours imaging service.</li><li>Contribute to Quality Assurance and Clinical Audit programmes within the department.</li><li>Engage in ongoing professional development, CPD and role development.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Experience</h3><ul><li>Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.</li><li>Successfully completed a training programme or currently in final year of qualification.</li><li>Motivated, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a friendly team in a busy district general hospital.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and willingness to participate in out‑of‑hour services.</li></ul><p>For further information or to discuss this post, contact:</p><ul><li>Morag Howard, Site Superintendent – morag.howard@nhs.scot, Tel: 01343 567325</li><li>Catherine Dyer, Deputy Site Superintendent – catherine.sim@nhs.scot, Tel: 01343 567494</li></ul><p>NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
