Automation Engineer
Location: Brackley

iO Associates is looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to support and enhance our manufacturing operations in the FMCG sector. You'll design, implement, and maintain automated systems to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for production and packaging lines.
2. Troubleshoot automation issues and implement long-term solutions.
3. Lead and deliver automation projects, upgrades, and process optimizations.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
6. Train production and maintenance teams on new systems and technologies.
Requirements:
7. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
8. Experience in automation roles within FMCG, food, or high-volume manufacturing.
9. Strong skills in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley), HMIs, and SCADA.
10. Good problem-solving, project management, and teamwork skills.
