Cutting-Edge Defence & Communications Projects
Are you an accomplished Electronics Design Engineer or RF Specialist ready to take your skills to the next level? Join a leading UK technology company developing next-generation RF and microwave systems for mission-critical applications across defence, aerospace and communications.
We’re looking for either:
* A proven RF or Microwave Design Engineer, or
* An experienced Electronics Design Engineer from an adjacent field, eager to specialise and train in RF design.
You will work within a talented, multi-disciplinary engineering team, creating high-performance circuits and systems that operate up to 40GHz — contributing directly to projects that make the world safer, more secure, and better connected.
Key Tasks:
* Design and develop RF, microwave, or high-frequency electronic systems and components, from concept through to production.
* Work on advanced technologies such as low-noise amplifiers, synthesisers, converters and transceivers.
* Collaborate with systems, mechanical and software engineers to deliver complete solutions.
* Contribute to the development of new RF and electronics technologies for future products.
* Support customer interactions and provide technical expertise during project discussions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in electronics or RF design.
* Strong background in analogue, mixed-signal, or high-frequency circuit design.
* Experience using tools such as ADS, AWR, HFSS, CST, SPICE, or Altium.
* Familiarity with RF/microwave principles (filters, impedance matching, signal integrity, EMC, etc.)
* Background in defence, aerospace, communications, or related high-reliability industries.
* Excellent communicator and team player, eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
(Applicants who don’t yet hold SC clearance but are eligible and have 5+ years’ UK residency will be considered.)
