High-Paced. High-Impact. Hugely Complex. Could This Be Your Next Challenge?
Hybrid work pattern - 3 days in the office, 2 remote days | Full-time - 37-hour week | Temporary assignment (12 months minimum)
We're recruiting on behalf of a regulatory organisation with a busy applications processing team in the heart of the business. The complexity of applications has surged, and the team urgently needs support to get ahead of backlogs, maintain quality, and continue delivering under pressure.
This is no ordinary admin role. It requires:
Judgement - interpreting application material and deciding next steps
Focus - working on up to 100 concurrent cases (some spanning over a year)
Resilience - the work is demanding, often changing, and definitely unlike anything you've done before
Day-to-day, you'll be:
Booking and validating complex applications
Monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with internal targets
Preparing official documentation for applicants
Maintaining data integrity across IT systems
Dealing with industry stakeholders, regulators, and in-house assessors
You'll need to be:
Sharp on systems - switching between multiple digital tools and datasets
Calm under pressure - able to juggle a high volume of evolving workloads
Curious and confident - not afraid to ask questions and challenge for clarity
Adaptable - ready to work in a shifting environment where processes are constantly under review
A team player - collaboration is key in keeping the wheels turning
The team environment:
Think of it as a mixed, supportive group of people (many of whom are specialists in their field) who know how to speak up, raise issues early, and lean on each other. Realistic expectations are in place for new joiners - one-to-one training takes time, and they don't expect you to know everything straight away.
In short:
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop operational experience in a regulatory setting that's fast-paced, full of variety, and deeply important.
Please apply without delay if this sounds like your kind of challenge.
