Job Title: Procurement Excellence Process Manager

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Contract: 24 Months

Rate: Up to £45 per hour PAYE


Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Excellence Process Manager to support global procurement process improvement and master data initiatives within a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. This role will focus on driving Procure-to-Pay (P2P) harmonisation, continuous improvement, automation, and data governance activities across global sites.


Key Responsibilities

* Support harmonisation and improvement of P2P processes across multiple sites
* Develop and maintain Level 5 work instructions and process documentation
* Drive procurement master data strategy and process optimisation initiatives
* Support implementation and enhancement of SAP ERP and SAP Ariba systems
* Maintain reporting tools, dashboards, KPI tracking, and data validation activities
* Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, IT, and Supply Chain teams
* Deliver continuous improvement projects to increase automation and process efficiency
* Support procurement analytics and reporting activities using Power BI and SAP tools


Requirements

* Strong project management experience within procurement environments
* Experience working within P2P, Accounts Payable, or Shared Services functions
* Strong understanding of upstream/downstream procurement processes
* Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP Ariba, and Power BI
* Pharma or life sciences industry experience preferred
* Experience documenting and harmonising global processes
* Strong analytical and data management skills
* Knowledge of continuous improvement and process compliance activities
* Experience with R, Python, SAS, or other analytical tools
* Understanding of Big Data, machine learning, or data mining concepts
* German or Spanish language skills would be beneficial
