Location: Leicester
Salary:Up to £35K DOE + Performance Bonus + Overtime available
Working hours: Monday to Friday - Weekend availability - 42.5 hours per week Mon to Fri 8-5. 1 in 2 sats 8-1
Are you looking to join a highly successful dealership in Leicester? We are seeking a skilled and experienced LCV Technician to join our client’s workshop in Leicester. The successful LCV Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs on light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
Perform engine and gearbox replacements as needed
Support the workshop team with technical advice and coaching
Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) and detailed safety inspections
Complete all documentation in line with company and compliance requirements
Source and order required parts efficiently
Take part in manufacturer training and ongoing technical development
Help maintain a clean, inclusive, and safety-conscious working environmentRequirements LCV (Vehicle) Technician:
A Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
Master/Diagnostic/Senior Technician accreditation (essential)
Main dealer or manufacturer-approved workshop experience (preferred)
A full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Excellent customer service skills and a team-first attitude
Experience mentoring apprentices (desirable)
