Salary: WPT Band 3 £25,583 - £25,989 ( £20,705 - £21,034 pro‑rate)

Responsibilities
* Creating and maintaining a dynamic learning environment aligned with lesson plans, ensuring resources are readily available and the space is conducive to effective learning, whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities, using proven strategies to support pupils in achieving their learning goals.
* Providing structured support to individuals and small groups, ensuring every student comprehends the material and stays on track with their learning journey.
* Monitoring student progress and accurately reporting achievements and challenges, offering detailed feedback to facilitate targeted support and intervention where necessary.
* Promoting positive behaviour and swiftly addressing any incidents, empowering students to take ownership of their conduct and contribute to a harmonious learning environment.
* Maintaining meticulous records to ensure accurate documentation of student progress and other administrative tasks to support classroom operations.
* Administering and marking routine tests in accordance with school policies, assisting in the assessment process to gauge student understanding and development.
* Assisting in pastoral care and implementing individual education plans (EHCPs), ensuring every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
* Supporting the class teacher with clerical duties, from photocopying to creating engaging pupil displays, and contributing to the smooth running of the classroom.
