All these departments offer huge scope for your professional development with the possibility to rotate amongst specialties. Your preceptorship and beyond!
The Practice Development and Education team will support you during your preceptorship period and beyond. We support all Newly Qualified Nurses through a comprehensive preceptorship scheme for a minimum of 12 months. A specialised two‑week supernumerary induction programme will take place in February/March 2026 (date to be confirmed). This gives you the opportunity to meet the Clinical Educators, get to know the hospital, attend workshops, complete a transitional learning needs analysis, access four bespoke CPD sessions as part of the Preceptorship Academy, and participate in the clinical Skills programme and bespoke IV drug administration day.

Essential criteria:
* Completion of Pre‑Registration training to diploma or degree level (final award to be confirmed)
Experience
Essential criteria:
* Recent experience of nursing in an acute hospital environment
Desirable criteria:
* Knowledge or experience of the relevant speciality

* Good communication and inter‑personal skills
* Ability to maintain high standards of care
