Job Title: Early Career Teacher (ECT) – All Key Stages

Salary: £120 – £150 per day (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
As an ECT, you will be supported in delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. These long-term roles are an ideal platform to begin your teaching journey with guidance from experienced mentors and supportive SLTs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to pupil needs.
* Establish a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with national standards.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers.
* Participate in school life and ongoing professional development.
Requirements for Early Career Teacher:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and registration as an ECT is desireable.
* Experience through placements or supply in primary settings.
* A proactive, adaptable, and reflective teaching approach.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* A CV covering the last 10 years (with explanations for any gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
