We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to work in a range of supportive primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is a rewarding opportunity for qualified teachers who are passionate about inclusion and making a meaningful difference to children’s learning and development.
The Role:
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND
* Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Adapt the curriculum and teaching strategies to ensure inclusive learning
* Monitor and assess progress against EHCP targets and individual support plans
* Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, parents, and external professionals
* Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with pupils with SEND in a primary setting (desirable)
* A strong understanding of inclusive practice and differentiation
* Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
