Locum Specialist Physiotherapist
NHS Experience is highly desirable
Position: Band 6
Location: Manchester
Pay Mechanism: Direct Pay Mechanism

Job Summary:
* Join the children's integrated physiotherapy and occupational therapy team.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within complex needs services and social services.
* Provide specialist physiotherapy for patients aged 0-19 years.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individual treatment programs.
Main Duties:
* Gain consent and conduct physiotherapy assessments.
* Clinically diagnose and formulate treatment plans.
* Treat complex patients while respecting their choice, privacy, and dignity.
* Manage a defined clinical caseload and work as a member of the MDT with indirect supervision.
* Supervise Band 5 physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
* Operate as an autonomous practitioner, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
* Provide support and guidance to more junior staff.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:
* Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
* Registered with HCPC.
* Evidence of CPD and advanced clinical reasoning in Paediatrics.
* Specialist knowledge in anatomy and physiology.
* Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and motivate a team.
* Flexible and able to work in a stressful environment.
* Postgraduate training in relevant clinical areas (e.g., CPIPS-UK, GIOBS).
* Previous senior role experience and audit involvement.
* Teaching, supervisory, and appraisal experience.
