The Simarco Culture and values ~ Communication ~ Innovation ~ Accountability ~ Integrity ~ Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role: Proven experience in a similar role (logistics or transport sector experience is highly desirable) Strong communication skills both written and verbal Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines using own initiative A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Confident using Microsoft Office packages Problem-solving skills, numerate and a customer-first approach Key duties & Responsibilities: Liaising with clients, overseas agents, and internal departments Taking bookings from Operations and accurately inputting them into the system Checking customer invoices to ensure customs compliance Working with the Internal Customs Team to raise export documentation Coordinating with overseas customs clearance agents Extracting and managing data from third-party systems Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently Charging and costing shipments accurately Resolving issues with hauliers when required We can offer you: We offer a highly competitive salary 25 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays Company Pension Scheme Discount platform including top high street retailers Full training and support Cycle to work & Tusker car scheme Regular engagement initiative including treat days!
