The Role
We are seeking a motivated Energy Consultant to join our team on a hybrid basis.
You will carry out energy audits and surveys, identify efficiency opportunities, and develop practical, cost-effective solutions. You’ll advise clients on energy performance, compliance, and reporting, while supporting ISO certification processes.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver energy audits and identify savings opportunities
* Produce clear, actionable reports and present findings
* Support energy strategy, compliance, and regulatory reporting
* Assist with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 implementation
* Build and maintain client relationships
* Support proposals and business development
* Collaborate internally and contribute to continuous improvement
About You
Essential:
* Relevant degree (engineering, energy, environmental science, or similar)
* Experience in energy management, audits, or efficiency projects
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good client-facing and communication skills
* Understanding of energy markets, tariffs, and procurement
* Experience with compliance/reporting (e.g. ESOS, ISO)
Desirable:
* Relevant Master's degree (engineering, energy, environmental science, or similar)
* Working towards or holding professional accreditations (e.g. CEng, CIBSE, ESOS, ISO 50001)
* Experience supporting proposals or tenders
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £33,000 – £36,000 (depending on experience)
