About the Role
The Crown Inn is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join their friendly and established kitchen team. Youll be responsible for working under the Head Chef, helping to produce high-quality fresh dishes, maintaining excellent kitchen standards, and contributing to a smooth, well-organised service. Full training will be given. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about cooking who enjoys working in a busy pub environment with a strong reputation for good food.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Keep your workstation clean, organised, and well-stocked.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Assist with stock checks and help minimise waste.
About You
Previous experience working as a Chef, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Reliable, organised, and able to manage your time effectively.
