Role Description
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our engineering department, including technical strategy, product development and team management. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise and a passion for driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership and Management:
Provide strategic leadership and vision for the engineering department, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and market trends. Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning. Prom
2. Technical Oversight:
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance product development capabilities and maintain a competitive edge. Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards and processes to optimize productivity, scalability and quality.
3. Project Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, address challenges and drive alignment. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on project status, milestones and technical decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. Demonstrated experience of 7 years in software development within an Agile environment. Strong technical background and hands-on experience in software development, architecture and engineering principles, including proficiency in languages such as Java Script/TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, Angular, Vue.js, etc.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git. Familiarity with design tools like Figma
