HR Business Partner Location: Hybrid / Manchester – Macclesfield (one day in Central Manchester per week, one day in Macclesfield per month) Contract: Fixed Term Contract, 15 Months Sector: Life Sciences / Pharma Consulting Are you a HR Business Partner looking for a long-term Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave, with a very flexible hybrid working arrangement? The business is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support day-to-day operations and drive impactful HR initiatives. Reporting to the People Director, you'll play a key role in enhancing employee engagement, improving processes, and delivering HR best practice across the business. Key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner: * Lead on employee relations including performance, disciplinary, grievances, and leave. * Coach and support line managers on people-related issues. * Drive engagement, retention, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Deliver training needs analysis and develop training/coaching plans. * Support data integration projects, payroll oversight, and TUPE processes. * Lead on HR data reporting (e.g. exit/stay interviews, absence trends). * Manage and review HR policies, ensuring legal compliance. * Line management of HR admin support. * Oversee HR service delivery, internal wellbeing/EDI initiatives, and reward programs. Key requirements of the HR Business Partner: Proven generalist HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated environment. * Strong background in employee relations and coaching leaders. * Confidence managing policies, procedures, and legal compliance. * Experience working with payroll and benefit providers. * Skilled in using HR data to support business decisions. * Passion for fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
