Strategy & Reporting Senior Associate

The Role
Bupa Dental Care (BDC) supports c.360 practices across the UK, delivering essential care to millions of patients every year. As we continue on an ambitious growth journey, we’re looking for a Strategy & Reporting Senior Associate to help shape the future of our business and influence key decision-making.
This role sits within our Commercial Finance & Strategy team – a small, high-performing and supportive team led by our Head of Commercial Finance. Reporting into the Senior Strategy Lead, you’ll play a key role in turning complex data and market insight into clear, actionable recommendations.
You’ll be at the heart of the business, providing strategic analysis and reporting that directly informs senior stakeholders and drives better decisions across Bupa Dental Care.
Responsibilities
1. Support the development of Bupa Dental Care’s strategy alongside the Dental Executive Team
2. Partner across the business on high-priority projects, identifying opportunities to add value
3. Bring external market and competitor insight to shape decision-making
4. Deliver strategic and financial reporting into wider Bupa
Strategic projects
5. Lead analysis across a range of projects, using both quantitative and qualitative insight
6. Turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
7. Contribute to business cases, challenging assumptions and strengthening decisions
8. Present insights in a clear, compelling way to senior stakeholders
Reporting
9. Deliver regular strategic reporting to senior leadership
10. Own and improve KPI reporting, keeping it focused and relevant
11. Partner with teams to align reporting to business priorities
12. Act as a go-to for external market insight
Skills/Experience
13. Strategy experience from consulting or in-house roles
14. Strong interest in healthcare (experience helpful, not essential)
15. Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CFA) beneficial
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (quant & qual)
17. Confident using Excel and PowerPoint; Python/ML a bonus
18. Commercially minded, able to turn data into clear insight
19. Comfortable with financials and building business cases
20. Clear, confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
21. Collaborative, with strong relationship-building skills
22. Self-sufficient, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
23. Proactive, pragmatic, and able to work through ambiguity
