Tutor Needed – Make a Big Difference in Stockton-on-Tees.
Looking to turn your teaching skills into something even more meaningful? We’re on the lookout for a passionate tutor to support secondary-aged students who are currently not in mainstream education (Permantly Excluded students), right here in the Stockton area.
What’s the role about?
You’ll work one-to-one with students at Key Stage 3 and 4, helping them re-engage with learning and grow in confidence. Whether it’s brushing up on maths, building literacy skills, or just being a steady, supportive presence, you’ll be part of something powerful. Tuition sessions will either take place in the students home or within local family hubs/libraries so holding a driving licence is desirable.
You’ll need:
* Experience working with KS3 and KS4 learners
* A calm, confident, and nurturing approach
* A flair for adapting your style to meet each student’s unique needs
* Bonus points if you’ve worked with students outside mainstream settings before!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
