Permanent 30 hrs per week
Shift pattern (8 hrs shift working 4 days out of 7 days)

You’ll help us make health happen by:
Taking on a proactive, customer‑focused role as our Shop/Café Supervisor, where you’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, lead and support your team, and ensure consistently high service standards.
This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. Experience in cafés or small retail settings is beneficial, and some food preparation will be part of the role.
You’ll be responsible for running our stand‑alone café and shop, working alongside team members to deliver friendly, efficient, and high‑quality café and retail services to both residents and external customers.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
* Supervise day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
* Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
* Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
* Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
* Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and minimize waste.
* Oversee cash handling, reconcile daily takings, and maintain accurate records.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
* Support promotional activities and contribute to sales growth.
* Barista training or experience in coffee preparation.
* Food Safety Level 2 certification.
