Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Weekend Domestic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organised environment for our clients. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage various cleaning tasks efficiently. Experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential.
Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Ensure all areas of the property are kept clean and tidy, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces.
* Some shifts you will be serving meals to the residents in the main dining areas and in the residents' rooms on the Care Wing.
* Assist with organisation of household items and ensure proper storage practices are followed.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
* Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties.
* Hours of work between 8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Good communication skills and a friendly disposition when interacting with clients.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
* A proactive approach towards maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the home environment.
