Job description
Our client, a significant player in the water sector, is seeking a skilled MEICA Project Engineer to manage the end-to-end delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation projects. This role is offered on a contract basis and sits outside IR35, providing an attractive opportunity for long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading the full lifecycle of MEICA projects from conception to completion
2. Managing the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems
3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
4. Ensuring compliance with water industry standards and regulations
5. Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
6. Monitoring and reporting on project progress and performance
7. Identifying and mitigating project risks
8. Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support
Job Requirements:
9. Experience in delivering MEICA projects, particularly within the water sector
10. Strong background in electrical engineering
11. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
12. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
13. Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
14. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
15. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
16. Engineering degree or relevant qualification
