Exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a modern, growing, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Beverley. This firm offers a wide range of services from audit, tax, bookkeeping, management accounts and accounts preparation. There is lots of support available with this firm, with an open plan office to encourage collaboration and yearly trips to support team building and professional development.
Responsibilities
* Preparation and review of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Finalising Corporate Tax and Personal Tax returns.
* Supporting a trainee accountant, helping them to progress and grow.
* Liaising with clients when necessary and forming long‑term relationships.
Qualifications
* Will be ACA or ACCA qualified or nearing completion.
* Will have a minimum of 3 years' practice experience in an accountancy firm, having worked as a Senior Accountant.
* Feel comfortable and confident contacting clients and building relationships and supporting junior members of the team.
