Job Position: Graduate Software Engineer

Location: Bridgend, Wales

Start Date: August 2026

Starting Salary: £25,000

Application Requirements:

* An interest in building a career as a Software Engineer where you will be up-skilling on a prestigious and highly sought after, Enterprise Applications Development Platform.
* A minimum predicted 2:1 degree is required. Any students studying any degree are welcome to apply, however, a foundational understanding of traditional programming languages, including programming constructs, semantics, and data structures are essential.
* Right to work in the UK unsponsored for the duration of the programme. Grayce is not on the UK Border Agency's Sponsor Register and is unable to sponsor work visas for international applicants.
* Commuting distance of Bridgend and a desire to remain in the area long-term. Must be able to be on site a minimum of three days a week.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of our clients; a global, Specialist Insurance firm, with headquarters in London and Houston, and with a rapidly growing team in Bridgend, Wales.

Working as Grayce Analysts, you will be deployed to our client to join their Product Engineering team, as a “Pega” Software Engineer.

Pega is a leading low-code application development platform used to build workflow automation and case-management solutions. The platform helps companies automate work, connect systems, and build smarter processes, allowing businesses to work faster, avoid mistakes, and deliver better experiences.

This role presents a long-term career opportunity to join our client as full-time employees following completion of the Grayce Programme.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

* Getting to the heart of business needs by gathering requirements from stakeholders and shaping them into clear, actionable user stories.
* Working side‑by‑side with agile teams — including project managers, business analysts, designers and testers — to help scope, shape and deliver end‑to‑end solutions that make a real impact.
* Building and configuring applications using Pega, creating intuitive workflows, user interfaces and simple integrations that keep processes running smoothly.
* Testing, troubleshooting and improving features, making sure your work meets quality standards and delivers a seamless experience for users..
* Growing your technical capability through hands‑on practice, Pega Academy modules and contributing to internal knowledge sharing as your confidence builds.
