Job Description
The People Relations Advisor partners with managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues early and effectively, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes. They manage ER cases, build manager capability through coaching and training, and support wider people initiatives across the organisation.
Regular travel across London, Essex, Watford and Kent.

Description
* Provide expert guidance to managers and employees to support the early resolution of employee relations issues, including performance concerns, grievances, conflict resolution, investigations and disciplinary matters.
* Manage a varied caseload of ER issues-such as long-term absence and workplace adjustments-ensuring accurate documentation, effective risk management and consistent application of policies and employment law.
* Deliver training sessions to build manager confidence and capability on ER topics, including absence management and disciplinary processes.
* Coach managers to adopt constructive, fair and proactive approaches when addressing people issues, encouraging early dialogue and resolution.
* Ensure all ER activity is compliant with internal policies, processes and employment legislation, escalating risks where necessary.
* Support broader people initiatives, including organisational change, restructures and related projects.
Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced employee relations professional with strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and a CIPD qualification (or equivalent). They will be agile and highly organised, able to manage multiple ER cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, compliance and sound judgement.
