Mactech require Firewatchers for long-term opportunities at Hinkley Point C.
We are seeking vigilant and responsible Firewatcher's to monitor designated areas for fire hazards and ensure the safety of personnel, property, and equipment. Successful candidate will maintain constant observation of work sites where hot work (welding, cutting, grinding, etc.) is being performed and respond immediately to any signs of fire risk.
Key Information
Pay Rates (PAYE):
* Basic Rate: £17.45 per hour
* Overtime 1: £24.43 per hour
* Overtime 2: £31.41 per hour
* Bonus: Up to £1.75 per hour
The above rates are in line with ECSA Site Agreement
Rotation: 10 days on, 4 days off
To be considered for one of these roles, you must have previous experience in a similar position and hold either a recognised Firewatcher certificate or an HSO Bronze Certificate, as well as a CCNSG Card (or be willing to obtain one).
Please note that all successful applicants will be required to pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) vetting prior to starting.
