EHCP Coordinator
Full Time | Term Time (plus inset days)

We are seeking an organised and proactive EHCP Coordinator to join our team in Kingston, supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
This is a key role focused on ensuring high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) that are compliant, person-centred and focused on positive outcomes.
About the Role
You will be responsible for coordinating the EHCP process from initial development through to annual review. Working closely with families, staff, local authorities and external professionals, you will ensure that all plans are accurate, up to date and reflective of each pupil's needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the preparation, review and updating of EHCPs
Leading and organising annual review meetings
Ensuring statutory deadlines and requirements are met
Acting as a main point of contact for EHCP queries
Liaising with families, local authorities and external agenciesThe ideal candidate will:
Have experience working within SEND or a related field
Possess strong organisational and administrative skills
Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
Be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Essential Requirements
Knowledge of EHCP processes and the SEND Code of Practice
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate meetings and manage casework
Good IT and administrative skills
Desirable
Experience coordinating EHCPs or similar roles
Experience within a school or local authority setting
Understanding of multi-agency working
