Overview
Due to increasing numbers for children, we are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years Educators from unqualified to Level 3 or above practitioners and room leaders to join our vibrant team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young learners. You will play a key role in fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and nap times, ensuring children feel secure and cared for.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships within the nursery setting.
* Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging children to develop social skills through interaction.
* Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education best practices within the nursery.
* Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development.
* Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for children.
* Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
* A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare at all times.
