Overview
We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician who is ready for the next challenge. As Senior Architectural Technician the role will involve engaging with land bids and strategic land processes at an early stage, to provide design, technical and planning input. This role is responsible for all stages of site development work, taking a site from inception to conclusion and beyond.

Responsibilities
* Producing and managing, with guidance, the working drawings for house types and/or adapting standard house type working drawing in accordance with agreed planning drawings
* Liaising with the regional offices regarding any queries relating to the planning drawings and working drawing requests
* Handling site queries when they arise
* Liaising with structural engineers and other third party consultants relating to working drawing matters
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a housebuilder's design and technical department
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 4 or above including maths and English
* Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
* Computer / IT literate with capability to use excel, Word and database packages
* Ability to use AutoCAD
