The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to inspire pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping them to develop confidence, creativity, and skills for life through English.
You will:
* Deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love of reading and writing
* Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential
* Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and inclusion
* Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
* QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* A degree in English or a closely related subject
* Experience teaching English at secondary level
* Strong communication skills and a calm, consistent approach to classroom management
* A genuine commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
