Job Title: NQ - 3 PQE Contentious Probate Solicitor Salary: £40K - £50K Hours: Full time Location: Bristol, hybrid. Job Reference: CWS455RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a varied caseload involving contentious probate matters. Advise clients on disputes related to wills, estates, and trusts. Prepare and draft legal documents, including statements of case and correspondence. Conduct legal research to support case strategies. Represent clients in court Collaborate with senior colleagues on complex cases. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records. Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.* Participate in business development and client relationship activitiesREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Qualified Solicitor registered in England and Wales NQ + Solid background within disputes resolution ideally dealing with contentious probate matters. Experience contributing to business development initiatives and fostering strong client relationships and a willingness to attend networking events. Ideally you will be a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists but this is not essential. A confident and approachable communicator, able to provide clear and empathetic advice to clients on complex issues relating to wills, estates, and trusts. Excellent drafting and writing skills. Proactive and analytical when conducting legal research to support case strategies, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable representing clients in hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings, with the confidence to advocate effectively in court. A collaborative team player, working well with senior colleagues on complex cases, and open to feedback and further development.
