Responsibilities
* Manage complex cases, formulate care plans, and guide evidence-based treatments.
* Handle a caseload of approximately 15-20 inpatients, possibly across different wards.
* Participate in ward rounds, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Lead risk assessments and management strategies.
* Write reports for tribunals and attend hearings.
* Collaborate with external agencies and participate in clinical governance.
Requirements
* Full GMC registration
* MRCPsych or equivalent
* Registration on the Specialty Register for Forensic Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with forensic experience
* Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
* Good CPD standing and recent appraisal
* AC and Section 12(2) approval
