Our client, is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Public Transport Services Manager to join their team. The role is a permanent position, contributing to the management and development of an integrated and efficient public transport network across the region. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the commissioning, tendering, and ongoing performance of bus services and passenger transport contracts. Ensure regulatory compliance and service standards for public transport services, including community transport. Provide guidance and direction to internal staff and external suppliers, ensuring policy and contractual adherence. Manage significant budgets exceeding £5 million per year. Offer technical advice and services to support corporate initiatives. Advise Members and senior officers on service delivery and policy development. Ensure the delivery of statutory and discretionary services, achieving performance and financial targets. Develop and review policies relating to bus provision, concessionary fares, community transport, ticketing and fares, stakeholder management, and Bus Reform Plans. Job Requirements: Experience in transportation or transport sector, particularly within a public transport context.
