London South Bank University is recruiting for the post of Occupational Therapy Lecturer in higher education.
Overview
Occupational therapy is a central part of LSBU’s mission to meet the needs of the public. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and student support across the Division of Occupational Therapy.
About You

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality teaching and student supervision at BSc and postgraduate levels.
* Participate in curriculum design, assessment and marking.
* Engage with placement providers to support clinical placements.
* Contribute to the positive student experience through personal tutoring and support.
* Maintain a robust research programme, securing funding and publishing outputs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a Master’s degree (or equivalent) required.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Experience in teaching, personal tutoring, and marking preferred.
* Established researcher with high‑quality outputs and proven ability to secure research funding.
* Evidence of societal impact, knowledge exchange, and national/international collaboration welcomed.
* Doctoral level supervision experience an advantage.
* Applicants meeting REF criteria at appointment will be considered for permanent placement; others may receive a fixed‑term offer.
