T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative automotive manufacturing business who focus on powertrain development to help them to recruit a Development Engineer.
As a Development Engineer, you would be responsible for developing and delivering powertrain systems for a variety of applications, predominantly focusing on projects within the motorsports and automotive sectors.
What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities as a Development Engineer:
* Oversee the planning, design, development and testing of systems in line with client requirements.
* Work closely with design, production and manufacturing engineers overseeing all stages of projects.
* To develop and implement test procedures and then interpret and analyse the results and data of these tests, to report and present data to clients and managers.
* Management and coordination of a concerns database, ensuring all issues are logged.
* To demonstrate through testing that the system/features meet all specified requirements.
What are we looking for?
Requirements to be a successful Development Engineer:
* Experience in or an interest of powertrain Engineering.
* Knowledge of project delivery within an engineering systems environment essential.
* Experience of working with Electric motors or inverters.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
* Strong technical report writing skills, with experience in delivering presentations.
* Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject.
Please note that based from the company’s headquarters in Milton Keynes, this opportunity will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects within the automotive industry.
There is flexibility on salary depending on the level of experience, with the package also including a Private Medical plan, a good holiday allowance growing with service and the option to join an Electrical Vehicle Sacrifice Scheme.
