Role Description
You will deliver private general dentistry with a biological lens, caring for motivated patients who expect clarity, kindness, and precision. You will have support from an experienced team.
Key responsibilities
* Comprehensive exams, diagnosis, and clear treatment planning
* Conservative, adhesive dentistry using biocompatible materials
* Biological protocols in daily care, for example rubber dam and clean-up suction, ozone use, PRF, safe amalgam removal training provided
* Patient education that links oral health with systemic wellbeing
* Meticulous records, radiographic justification, and consent
* Collaboration with internal and external clinicians for complex cases
About you
* Experienced Associate Dentist, comfortable with private care
* Excellent communication skills
* Genuine interest in biological, holistic dentistry and integrative medicine
* Calm chairside manner, excellent listening and explanation
* Organised, detail-driven, accountable
* High teachability index
Essential
* GDC registration in good standing
* Appropriate professional indemnity
* Valid IRMER, up-to-date CPD, DBS, right to work in the UK
* Ability to work on-site in Southampton 2 to 4 days per week
* Proficiency with modern dental software
Nice to have
* Biological dentistry experience, such as SMART-style amalgam removal, ozone, PRF, ceramic implant familiarity
* Interest in airway, breathing, TMD, myo-functional
