Zealous Agency are proud to be partnered with an established, award-winning integrated agency in Leeds that is looking for an experienced Account Director to join the growing team and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients spanning brand, creative, digital and performance marketing.
The Account Director is a key client leadership role within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary agency environment. You’ll be responsible for driving strong relationships, delivering strategic excellence and ensuring commercial performance across your accounts.
As an Account Director, you will act as the senior day-to-day lead across several integrated accounts. You’ll partner closely with clients to understand their commercial objectives, translating these into cohesive strategies delivered by specialist creative, strategy and performance teams.
You’ll balance strategic oversight with operational control, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a consistently high standard.
Responsibilities:
Client Partnership
* Own relationships across mid to senior stakeholders
* Develop a clear understanding of each client’s business, challenges and growth ambitions
* Deliver confident, engaging presentations and performance reviews
* Maintain regular communication around sentiment, risks and opportunities
Strategic & Creative Direction
* Oversee the development of integrated campaigns across the full media mix
* Write clear, inspiring briefs that drive strong creative and performance outputs
* Ensure all activity is aligned to agreed KPIs and commercial objectives
* Review and challenge work to continuously elevate quality
Commercial Accountability
* Take responsibility for account profitability and revenue growth
* Identify organic growth and cross-channel opportunities
* Ensure accurate forecasting and project scoping
* Manage resource allocation across concurrent workstreams
Team & Process Leadership
* Support and mentor account team members
* Coordinate effectively with strategy, digital and creative disciplines
* Contribute to refining agency processes and improving ways of working
What we are looking for:
* Significant agency experience within an integrated or digital marketing agency
* Strong understanding of performance marketing alongside brand and creative delivery
* Proven track record of managing multi-channel client portfolios
* Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and forecasting
* Highly organised with excellent stakeholder management skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence and inspire
