Job Description
Our client is looking for a new addition to the team, who will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and improvement to all tooling dies, jigs, fixtures and fittings for alltooling. Responsible for initiating and implementing process improvements to increase output and efficienciesPrincipal dutiesManufacture, repair and maintain all tooling and fixturesRecommend improvements to current tooling to facilitate SMED techniquesInitiate and implement tooling improvements to enable the production processes to be as efficient as possibleIdentify, initiate and implement process improvements across all areas of production in order to increase output and efficienciesRoutine servicing and regrinding of press tools following last-off procedureAttend breakdowns, identify faults and solve problems with minimal downtimeEvaluate each job and determine if it can be repaired in the press or must be removed to tool room for essential maintenance and repair workEstimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescalesIdentify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damageReport breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to managementEnsure all work is undertaken to a high standardPersonal AttributesOwnership of issues from start to finishProactive in approachAble to make pertinent decisions to determine the best course of actionAnalytical and data driven when solving problemsTeam focused, tolerant and methodicalAble to work well under pressureHighly conscientious, inquisitive, innovative, resourceful and diligent with an eye for detail.Competent with oral and written communicationsGood time management will be a prominent skillTrained in all tool room machinery and toolsDays with an early finish on Friday£14.25 per hourPlease submit your CV for the role Thank youTPBN1_UKTJ
