Completion of planned and reactive maintenance tasks on building and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure routine maintenance is carried out on all buildings, plant, and production equipment.
* Work as a member of a two-person team on the night shift.
* Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical equipment.
* Adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments to maintain safe working practices.
* Develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE and client staff.
* Maintain logbooks, complete shift hand‑over, and update client reporting accurately.
* Work overtime as required with a flexible attitude.
* Identify and report potential hazards.
Qualifications & Skills
* A written and spoken English, mathematics, and IT skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience across multiple disciplines (electric, fabrication, water hygiene, painting, carpentry) is desirable.
* Comprehensive mechanical experience with reactive and planned preventive maintenance; experience with cranes and ability to work at height.
* Sound understanding of health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.
* Ability to learn and develop technical knowledge and understanding of local organisational systems and processes.
* Excellent fault‑finding skills.
* Committed to excellent customer service.
* Calm under pressure, organisational and planning skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
* Formal H&S training, legionella awareness, IPAF training are advantageous.
