Care Assistant / Support Worker – Flexible Hours – Tamworth / Lichfield

We are hiring Care Assistants and Support Workers to join a growing, award-winning care provider supporting clients across Tamworth and Lichfield.

Pay & Earnings
* £12.85 per hour (weekday)
* Double Up Calls are paid at £13.50ph (where two carers are required)
* Plus Enhanced weekend rates
* Plus Bank Holidays paid at £25.70 per hour
* Plus 30p per mile mileage allowance
* Plus Travel time paid (£2.55 per hour)
* Planned pay enhancements in 2026/27 as part of continued investment in staff
Full-time equivalent earnings: approx. £25,000+ per year (pro rata depending on hours and shifts worked)
Flexible part-time and full-time options available.
Working Pattern
* Morning shifts from 7:00am (8:00am latest) Until Lunch Time
* Evening shifts from 4:00pm (5:00pm latest) until 10:00pm
* Minimum commitment: 2 runs per week
* Combination of weekdays and some weekends

The Role
You will support clients in their own homes, providing person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Duties include:
* Personal care (washing, dressing, grooming)
* Medication support
* Meal preparation
* Light household duties
* Companionship and emotional support
* Accurate care documentation
What We're Looking For
* Caring, reliable and committed individuals
* Strong communication skills
* Drivers preferred (must have access to a vehicle)
Experience is Ideal but not essential, full support and High level training will be provided to all new starters with a robust onboarding induction
